Trapezi / Performance art.

The movement will be guided by the sound; our voices and our breathings. Time, movement, sound and space relation are the essence of this performance.

During the performance will be created a line of sound and movement that will never stop: showing different intensities, created by the vibration of the voice, the needed to breathe, the movement through the tiredness and the uncertainty of the changes. As well, the connexion between the space, the sound and the two performers.

 

 

The voice is a human capacity that implicates the body physically and mentally. The voice is completely related with our personality, and trough it we can express our emotions or thoughts. It also determinates our mood and it is a release channel for our emotions and a channel to exteriorize accumulated tension. For example, a scream it is a instinctive manifestation that implicates all the body.

In the performance there will be no language, but for sure there will be communication. When the need the breath is more urgent the vibration of the vocal cords will be less stable, and the power of the voice will go down. Tired to run?  Stocked in a trick? Feeling frustrated by the breathing or any other thing that is here and now? These are only examples, to say that the voice that will come out has its own personality.

Forced to move.

Allowed to breathe.

Forced to stop breathing.

Allowed to use my voice.

 

Breathe. Move. And use your voice.

 

An ongoing line of sound of movement, that will be determinate by the density, the temperature, the space, the frequency between this and that, the quantity of air that can be in my or his lungs (-did you smoke today? – well, I was next to you inside a plastic cage, one meter per one meter), and all the different elements that can take place today and maybe not tomorrow. Breathe.
